How We Make Our Post Drivers

 Our post drivers are produced through a water jet cutting process. This ensures an accurate, stress-free cut without distortion and heat-affected zones.


Water Jet Cutting is a versatile process which uses a jet of water, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance, at high velocity and pressure to accurately cut or slice metals or other materials. We use this method in the production of our range of fence post drivers. As well as this, we provide a sub-contracted profile cutting service.


This is an environmentally friendly method, producing no hazardous waste and significantly reducing waste disposal costs. It results in a safer work environment, eliminating airborne dust particles and contaminants which arise from cutting materials in more traditional ways.

MODEL 1+

A very cost effective machine and an ideal farmer’s fence post driver, this robust machine is the result of 15 years of extensive testing.

Sturdy, compact, capable and very cost effective to own, this is the ideal machine for the farmer who prefers to do his own fencing.

The 380kg hammer is well capable of driving heavy straining posts.

Hydraulically operated, the post driver attaches to the three point linkage and fits all models of tractor.

MODEL 2

The ideal machine for farm fencing, especially on larger farms, this post driver has all the features of Model 1+ with the added feature of a telescopic mast. There is a great deal of mast movement in 4 directions, which means the post can be pulled or pushed in any of four directions, allowing very precise control of the post being driven. The Independent Post Cap allows for much greater hammer impact, even under extreme conditions, without any tendency for the cap to lift off the post. This precise control combined with the 400KG hammer means this is a truly versatile machine capable of driving posts up to 3.3m in height and 375mm in diameter. This is the most popular post driver used by hire companies as it is easily mounted on a transport trolley thus making delivery no problem.

MODEL 2+

Ideal machine for large scale farmers and part time contractors postdriver. The postdriver has no limitations when it comes to side tilt with 30° of left to right movement. The mast pivots on a heavy duty king pin at the base of the machine which allows the operator to hydraulically pull posts left and right.

MODEL 3

This de-luxe post driver is cleverly designed to make contract fencing easier and more efficient. Features virtually indestructible construction, hydraulic controls, side shift and tilt making it extremely flexible. It’s robustness, ease of use and maintenance plus a low cost of ownership make it an indispensable workhorse for fencing contractors.

Almost indestructible – the earliest models of this machine were built almost 20 years ago and are still in daily use!

The machine uses the same hydraulically controlled titling mechanism as our Model 2 Post Driver, meaning it has no limitations when it comes to side tilt. In addition hydraulic rams allow stakes to be moved in any direction with complete precision, allowing the mast to remain vertical on any gradient. These features combined with the 380kg hammer, means that this machine can drive straining posts of up to 12′ in height and 12″ in diameter.

The Model 3 post driver is an easily maintained machine which attaches to the three point linkage and fits all models of tractor. A hitch is provided on the post driver so that it can be transported by a tractor while also towing a trailer. It’s extensive range of features make this is an ideal machine and a true workhorse for fencing contractors.

MODEL 4 contractor

This machine is essential for the dedicated contractor and offers unbelievable control and precision at great speed when driving fencing posts. The 90mm diameter Rockspike is an ideal for making a pilot hole into hard compacted ground, roadways etc. The 800mm side shift ensures the machine can slide into a compact position for road transport.

MODEL 4 CONTRACTOR 120° SWING



Contractors postdriver, very robust construction which offers the unbelievable ability to reach into difficult corners and hard to reach places. Posts can be driven with absolute precision and great speed. The Model 4 Contractor 120° swing has a two stage side shift which allows the machine to remain compact even when you are driving posts directly behind machine. It also has the Rockspike feature thus allowing posts to be driven in rocky and hardened ground.

Model 5

MODEL 6

This post driver can be mounted on any make of mini-excavator weighing from 1.5 tonnes up. It can also be mounted on a front loader. It is very easy to use in awkward situations and is a robust machine which will give years of service.

MODEL 7

Suitable for farmers and small scale contractors. This is a very versatile machine, allowing posts to be driven up on banks, across drains, over hedges, etc. Attachment brackets can be changes in minutes to fit excavator or loader hitches. The machine has a heavier hammer and longer beam than the Model 6. Thus allows more hammer travel for greater hitting force.

Model 8 – 220° swing


The model 8 220° machine offers outstanding output and versatility for all types of contract fencing. This is a self propelled one man fencing machine. It can rotate 220° from left to right. The machine uses 18 ton of hydraulic force to rotate and slew the postdriver. This design offers the most powerful and trouble free slewing/rotating system on the market.
It has a hydraulic sliding mast and beam which allows the hammer to reach greater heights, and drop lower to the ground.
